Claude Adam is a member of the Chamber of Deputy in Luxembourg. He has been in office since 2004, when he was elected for the first time. He represents The Greens Party (Dei Greng) for the Centre constituency.
Claude Adam was born in Ettelbruck in 1958.
Political Career
By profession he is an education inspector. From 2004 to 2009 he was a member of the Commission to National Education and Professional Training, as well as a member of the Commission on Higher Education, Research and Culture until 2010. From 2004 until 2008 and from 2009 until 2013 he was a member of the Commission of Public Service, Administrative Reforms, Media and Communications. He has been Municipal Councelor in Mersch since 2005. From 2006 until 2013 he was a member of the Luxembourger Delegation to the Interregional Parlamentarian Council (CPI). From 2009 until 2013 he was a member of the Commission on Culture. He has been a member of the Party "Dei Greng" since 1999 and member of the omonymous political group since 2013. Since 2013 he has been a member of the Commission on Institution and Constitutional Revision, a member of the Commission on Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Cooperation and Immigration, a member of the Commission on National Education, Childhood and Youth, vice-President of the Commission on Higher Education, Research and Culture and a member of the Conference of Special Organizations in Communitarian Affairs.
