Ante Babić was born on May 26, 1966 in Trier, Federal Republic of Germany. He is a member of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ; Croatian: Hrvatska Demokratska Zajednica) and has been a member of the Croatian Parliament since 2011.
Political Career
He has entered the 7th Assembly of the Croatian Parliament in December 2011 as Damir Krstičević's substitute. He is a member of the Committee on Human and National Minority Rights, the Committee on Croats outside the Republic of Croatia, the Interparliamentary Co-operation Committee, the Executive Committee of the National Group to the Inter-Parliamentary Union, as well as the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean.
