José Miguel Camacho Sánchez (born 27 May, 1959). He was born in Pesquera (Cantabria). He is a member of the Spanish Senate for the Socialist Party (PSOE).
Political Career[edit]
He began his political career in the Council of Talavera de la Reina (Toledo) as deputy mayor in 1991. After that he became city councillor during the period of 1995 -1999. During this period he was also member of the autonomous parliament of Castilla- La Mancha. In 2000 he began his political career in the senate, which ended in 2011 (IX Legislature).
Special Achievements[edit]
He participated in a number of commissions throughout his senate career, such as the commission for the eradication of racism in sports and the EU commission.
