Joseph Sammut was born in Canada and currently resides in Żurrieq.
Political Career
In 1994, Sammut started his professional career in law, today running a number of offices including a firm in which he is Senior Partner. He was first elected to Parliament in the general elections of 1998 and re-elected in the subsequent elections.
Education
He studied at the primary and secondary schools in Żurrieq and at the St Albert College Valletta. He furthered his studies in the French language and in 1993 he graduated with a Doctorate in Laws from the University of Malta.
