Carla Rodrigues is a member of the Municipal Assembly of Vila de Cucujães. She is in her second mandate as a deputy at the National Parliament for the PSD political force, since starting her activity in the 11th legislature (2009-10-15). She is currently a member of several parliamentary committees (Constitutional Affairs, Rights, Freedoms and Guarantees; Healthcare; Ethics, Citizenship and Communication).
