Heike Baehrens (born 21. September 1955) is a German politician and a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).
Political Career
Baehrens has been a member of the SPD since 1988. She was a Member of the Stuttgart city council and was the youth and social policy spokeswoman of the SPD from 1989-1996. She was also the deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in the Stuttgart city council from 1992-1996. Heike Baehrens is also a Member of the European Union Germany.
Education
Baehrens trained to be a bank clerk and subsequently studied religious education.
