Czesław Sobierajski – (born on 5th June 1952 in Kielce, Poland) – is a Polish politician, entrepreneur, and a member of parliament in the X, I, III and VII mandate.
Political Career[edit]
In 1980 he joined the “Solidarity" party (Solidarność), In 1989-1991 he was a deputy (X term) for the Citizens' Committee (Komitet Obywatelski), in 1991-1993, he was a Member of Parliament (I term) for the Civic Alliance (Porozumienie Obywatelskie Centrum).
He was a member of the Center Alliance and was the president of the provincial board of the party. He was a Member of Parliament (II term) for the Solidarity Electoral Action (Akcja Wyborcza Solidarność) and from 1997 to 2001 he held the mandate of the III term. Between 1998 and 2002 he also served as a councillor of the regional council of Silesia.
In 1999 he was a member of the Polish Christian Democrat Agreement. In 2006 he joined the Law and Justice (Prawo i Sprawiedliwość). In the parliamentary elections in 2007 and 2011 unsuccessfully ran for Parliament from a list of PiS, however in September 2014 he became a deputy in the place chosen for the Senate Izabela Kloc.
Education[edit]
He graduated in 1986 from the Post-Secondary Technical School for Mechanical Working in Gliwice.
