E.ON has a partnership with the Museum Kunstpalast in Düsseldorf. in which it has supported the extension and renovation of the building. From this cooperation, all the employees of E.ON have privileged access to art and culture; namely as they have free entry into the museum. Football is the sport n°1 in Europe. Fundamental Conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO) “Conventions and recommendations are drawn up by representatives of governments, employers and workers and are adopted at the ILO's annual International Labour Conference. Ratifying countries commit themselves to applying the convention in national law and practice and reporting on its application at regular intervals. The ILO provides technical assistance if necessary. In addition, representation and complaint procedures can be initiated against countries for violations of a convention they have ratified” Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, which asks companies to “embrace, support and enact, within their sphere of influence, a set of core values in the areas of human rights, labour standards, the environment and anti-corruption”. For instance businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights, uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining as well as support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges.
