Valerie Van Peel was born on October 11th 1979 in Ekeren (Belgium). She is a member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for the Flemish nationalist party (N-VA).
Political Career[edit]
In the local elections in 2012, she became a councillor in Kapellen. She became president of the Public Office of Social Welfare in Kapellen and alderman for Social Affairs. Since the national elections on May 25th 2014, Valerie Van Peel has held a seat in the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for N-VA.
Education[edit]
She graduated in communication science from the University of Gent and she did a postgraduate degree afterwards at Erasmushogeschool Brussels in journalism.
