Jan Birke (born on the 12th May 1960) is a Czech politician. He has been a member of the Chamber of Deputies Parliament of the Czech Republic since 26. 10. 2013. He was elected on the slate of ČSSD party.
Education[edit]
Jan Birke is a mechanical engineer by profession. He studied at a mechanical industrial high school in Nove Mesto nad Metují.
Political career[edit]
Jan Birke has been a member on the Committee on Economic Affairs since 4. 12. 2013, the Electoral Committee member since 4. 12. 2013 and the Electoral Committee verifier since 5. 12. 2013.
Mr. Birke has been also a member of Podvybor pro dopravu since 26. 2. 2014 and a member of Podvybor pro ICT prumysl a e-Government since 26. 2. 2014. He has been a member of the Political group Czech Social Democratic Party since 29. 10. 2013.
