Đuro Popijač was born on 23 April 1959 in Botinec (Croatia). He is a member of the Croatian Parliament (Hrvatski Sabor) and also a member of the Croatian Democratic Union (Hrvatska demokratska zajednica).
Political Career[edit]
Popijač’s parliamentary mandate has begun on 22 December 2011. Currently he is a deputy chairperson of the Committee on the Economy and a member of the Committee on Information, Computerisation and the Media in the Croatian Parliament.
Education[edit]
He graduated from the Engineering College in Maribor and obtained his degree of Master of Science in Economic from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb.
