Nikola Rakocevic was born on June 27, 1983, in Kragujevc, Serbia. He is a Serbian actor.
Biography
In 2012, he became a permanent member of the Yugoslavian Drama Theater. His film career begin in 2002. At first he took roles in a few short films and in 2005 in the film of Stevan Filipovic "Sheitan's warrior" (in the part of Novica skinhead). Immediately after he played the role of Milan, a soldier from the World War I, in the movie of Sinisa Kovacevic "Uncles". For theese roles he received awards at several festivals.
In the meantime he played in a couple of series and in 2009 in the movie of Stevan Filipovic "Skinning" playing Novica, a young mathematician who becomes a skinhead. Following this he had a role in the movie of Srdjan Koljevic called "Woman with a broken nose" ( in the role of Marko) and "Graduation" ( the omnibus "October") of Milica Tomovic. For his roles in "Skinning" and "October" he has been critically claimed and awarded at almost all local festivals. In 2011 in the film of Srdan Golubovic, "Circles", he played the part of Bogdan and in 2012 in the film of Kosta Djordjevic, "Trolling", the role of Relja for which he also received an award. He is also a member of Das Imperium international talent agency.
Education
After his third year of high school he entered the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade in the class of Professor Biljana Masic. His professional career began with the play "Pinocchio" in the children's theater Bosko Buha after which his theatrical career continued at the National Theater Belgrade. After that he continued to play in all the major theatres in Belgrade, and took on the role of Marko in the play "Barbelo o deci i psima" in the Yugoslavian Drama Theater. He has received a number of prestigious awards at local festivals.
