Veerle Heeren is a Belgian (Flemish) politician and member of the CD&V.
Political career
Since 2012 Heeren is the Mayor of Sint-Truiden. In May 2014 she was elected as a member of the Belgian Parliament.
Education
In 1989 Heeren graduated in Law from the University of Brussels (VUB). One year later she got a Master's degree in International and Comparative Law.
