Agostinho Gonçalves Alves da Santa was born on January 5th, 1957. He currently practices as an Inspector of the General Inspectorate of Education and Science.
Political Career
Besides being a member of the Municipal Assembly of Peso da Régua, Agostinho Santa is also a member of the Assembly of the Inter Intermunicipal Community of Douro. This is his first mandate as a deputy at the National Parliament for the Socialist Party, since he started his activity on the 12th legislature (since 2011-06-20). He takes actually part of several parliamentary committees (Education, Science and Culture; Ethics, Citizenship and Communication; Inquiry to the Acquisition of Military Equipments Program; Teaching programes in Elementary and Secondary School).
