She was an accountant in several companies and also the director of the Management and Accountancy department of a hotel company. She has been a deputy since 2011, when she was elected as a deputy by the Balearic Islands.
Education
María de la O Ares Martinez-Fortún has a Bachelor in Business. She has also studied International Trade at the École Superiore du Commerce of France and holds certificates in English, German and French.
