Kees de Lange
Kees de Lange (born on June 7th, 2011 in Zaandam) is the leader of the OSF-party (OSF-fractie) in the Dutch Senate. Furthermore, he is a professor of atomic stuff and laser physics at the Free University of Amsterdam.
Political Career
De Lange was the chairman of the Nederlandse Bond voor Pensioenbelangen (NBP). He was co-founder of the 50Plus and in 2010 the vice-president of the party. As a member of 50Plus De Lange was initially for the elections of the Senate in 2011 selectable to a second place on the list of candidates for his party. After an agreement between the 50Plus and the Independent Senate Group (OSF), he became the leader for the OSF. The OSF seemed to gain no seat, but with the support of some provincial 50Plus States members this was nevertheless achieved. After the break in the parliamentary group of 50Plus end of May 2014, De Lange chose to sleep together with Norbert Klein.
Education
Kees de Lange studies mathematics and physics (specialization Experimental physics with mathematics and electronics) at the University of Amsterdam from 1960 until 1966.
