Liesbeth Kneppers-Heijnert

Liesbeth Kneppers-Heijnert (born on July 17th, 1951 in Amsterdam) is a member of the Dutch Senate for the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) and chairman of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs. Moreover, Heijnert is professor of Business Administration at the University of Groningen.

Political Career

Kneppers-Heijnert has been a member of the Dutch Senate for the VVd since June 12th, 2007. she was previously a member of the senate from June 8th, 1999 until June 10th, 2003 and is now currently the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs and focuses on social affairs.

Education

Liesbeth Kneppers-Heijnert studied Human Rights (mainly civil law) at the Free University of Amsterdam from 1969 until 1975.
