Cathy Coudyser
Cathy Coudyser (born in Knokke-Heist, December 14th, 1969) is a West-Flemish politician.
Political career
In 2003, Coudyser was elected president of N-VA Knokke-Heist (2003-2011). That same year she was also elected a member of the local district board of the N-VA Bruges Torhout-East Coast department. In 2010, Coudyser became secretary of the Board and a member of the party of the New Flemish Alliance. In November 2012, Cathy Coudyser took the oath as a member of the House of Representatives where she succeeded Manu Beuselinck from Ostend. On May 25, 2014 Cathy Coudyser was elected into the Flemish Parliament. In addition, she was nominated by the N-VA party in the Flemish Parliament and appointed state senator. In the Flemish Parliament Cathy Coudyser is a regular member of the Committee on Culture, Youth, Sports and Media.
Education
Cathy Coudyser studied Regency at St. Andrew Institute in Bruges. After a brief period in education (Hotel and Tourism School Spermalie), she moved to the financial world as a consultant at KBC.
