Jakša Baloević

Jakša Baloević was born on 15 October 1955 in Supetar on the island of Brač, Croatia. He is a member of the Croatian Parliament (Hrvatski sabor) and a member of the New Wave - Development Party (Croatian: Novi Val - Stranka razvoja).

Political Career

Baloević's parliamentary mandate began in December 2011. On 5 April 2014 he ceased to be an independent MP and became member of New Wave - Development Party. His main parliamentary functions are being the chairman of the Deputy Club of the Democratic Centre, New Wave and Independent MPs Petar Baranović and Natalija Martinčević. He was elected from the independent list - dr. sc. Ivan Grubišić.

Education

Baloević completed his post secondary school education at the School of Professional Higher Education in Textile and Apparel in Zagreb, becoming an Apparel Engineer.
