Dietmar Keck, born on April 27, 1957 in Linz, is an Austrian politician and a Member of Parliament for the SPÖ (Sozialdemokratische Partei Österreichs; Social Democratic Party of Austria) since 2002.

Political career

Dietmar Keck has been District Party Deputy Chairman of the SPÖ Linz since 1998 and Chairman for the SPÖ Voest-Alpine since 1998. Since December 20, 2002, he has represented the SPÖ in the National Council. In the XXIII. legislative period, he was a member of the Committee on Labour and Social Research, Innovation and Technology, Consumer protection, Committee for Petitions and Citizens' Initiatives, Sports Affairs and Health.

Education

Dietmar Keck attended primary school from 1963 to 1967 and then main school until 1972. Afterwards, he trained as a barber and completed his military service in the same year .
