Malik Azmani

Malik Azmani is a member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie) and since June 17th, 2010 a member of the Dutch House of Representatives. He was born in Heerenveen (The Netherlands) on January 20th, 1976.

Political Career

In 2008 Malik Azmani joined the VVD. Malik Azmani was a member of the Ommen municipality from March 11th, 2010 till March 27th, 2014. From 2009 till 2010 Azmani was a member of the board of the Directorate for Social Migration in the Ministry of Justice. Furthermore, Azmani has been a member of the Dutch House of Representatives for the VVD since June 17th, 2010. He is spokesman for immigration, integration and asylum.

Education

Malik Azmani did with a degree in Dutch Law (directions private law and criminal law) from the University of Groningen from 1995 till 2000. He also did several courses in constitutional and administrative law.
