Piero Aiello has served the Italian Parliament as Senator representing the region Calabria since 2013. He is a member of the New Centre-Right political party.
Piero Aiello was born in Ardore, Calabria, on June 30th 1956.
Political Career
He was appointed as Senator for the first time after the February 2013 elections. At that time, he belonged to the People of Freedom Party. After the People of Freedom dissolved in November 2013, he became part of the New Centre-Right Party. He is also a member of the 12th Permanent Commission on Hygiene and Healthcare and the Vice-President of the Commission of Inquiry on Work-Related Injuries.
Education
Piero Aiello graduated in Medicine and then worked as a Doctor and Chief Medical Officer.
