Betty de Boer

Betty de Boer is a member of the Dutch House of Representatives for the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD). De Boer was born on September 2nd, 1971 in Achtkarspelen.

Political Career

Betty de Boer was senior lawyer at the Land Use and Water Department of the Groningen province from 2000 until 2003. From 2002 to 2010, de Boer was a member of the city council for VVD in the Groningen municipality. From November 2006 to May 26th 2010, she was the VVD Leader of the Groningen council. On June 17th 2010, Betty de Boer became a member of the Dutch House of Representatives for the VVD.

Education

Betty de Boer has a degree in Legal Governance Sciences (specialisation in national governance and extra courses in international and environmental law) from the University of Groningen.
