Alexandar Hristov Metodiev is a MP of the PP Movement for Rights and Freedom in the 42nd National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria. He was born on 28 November 1958 in Samokov.

Political Career

Metodiev was a member of Human Rights and Citizens’ Complaints Committee and the Committee on Religious Denominations and Parliamentary Ethics in the period of 1 January 2013- 5 August 2014.

Education

Metodiev is a lecturer and speaks Russian

Notable works

He was the Deputy Chairperson of the Friendship Group Bulgaria with Albania and Lebanon as well as a member of Friendship Group Bulgaria with Portugal, Kazakhstan, and Brazil.
