Marek Benda
Marek Benda (born on 10th November 1968) is Czech politician. He has been member of the Chamber of Deputies Parliament of Czech Republic since 26. 10. 2013. He was elected on the slate of ODS party.
Education
Mr. Benda was studying on Mathematics and Physics faculty of Charles University from 1988 to 1990; however he did not finished the studies because of the revolutionary climate at this time. As well as he did not complete his studies of philosophy in 1992 at the Philosophical Faculty of the same university, because his busy political activities. He states that his disadvantage at university was his poor knowledge of foreign languages. He graduated at the Faculty of Law University of West Bohemia in Plzeň in 2008. JUDr. degree however after subsequent investigation could not be recognize because of rigorous thesis and its fail due to essential requirements.
Political career
Marek Benda has been Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs member since 4. 12. 2013, Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs, verifier of committee member since 5. 12. 2013 and Steering Committee member since 12. 12. 2013. Mr. Babiš has been also a member of Podvybor pro pripravu navrhu na propujceni nebo udeleni statnich vyznamenani (czech name) since 19. 12. 2013, member of Podvybor pro Ustavu Ceske republiky a parlamentni procedury (czech name) since 18. 3. 2014 and member of Podvybor pro Policii Ceske republiky, obecni policie a soukrome bezpecnostni sluzby (czech name) since 26. 3. 2014. He has been also member of few commisions as well: Electoral Commission of the Chamber of Deputies since 21. 11. 2013, Permanent Commission on Oversight over the work of the Security Information Service since 12. 12. 2013, Permanent Commission on Oversight over the work of the Security Information Service since 19. 12. 2013, Vysetrovaci komise k provereni zpusobu vysetrovani kauzy Opencard(czech name) since 18. 6. 2014. He has been member of Political Group of the Civic Democratic Party since 30. 10. 2013.
