Mary White (November 24, 1948) is an Irish politician and businesswoman.

Education

She has got a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Politics from UCD and a Higher Diploma in Architectural Technology from the Dublin Institute of Technology.

Political Career

She was elected in Irish Senate in 2002 for Fianna Fáil party, and then re-elected in 2007 and in 2011. She is the Fianna Fáil spokesperson on Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation in Seanad Éireann;

Mary White is known for her commitment to advancing the peace process in the North of Ireland, having meetings with ex-prisoners of both sides. She has approached to childcare provision, discrimination against our ageing fellow citizens, suicide prevention and women in enterprise.
