Xabier Mikel Errekondo Saltsamendi was born Usúrbil, Guipúzcoa, 12 de agosto in 1964.
== Political Career ==I In 2007 he was presented the mayor of Usurbil, his hometown, leading the candidacy of Basque Nationalist Action. His list won with a majority and he was mayor from 2007 to 2011 with the support of Aralar.
