  • Mayor of Polis Chrysochous (1991-1996).
  • Minister of Communications and Works of the Republic of Cyprus during Glafkos Clerides’ presidency (1999-2003).
  • DISY Commissioner for Financial Affairs and Development.
  • Deputy President of DISY.
  • Member of the National Council, the supreme advisory body to the President of the Republic on the Cyprus problem.
  • President of DISY since May 2013.
