Culture Gap

A concept used to describe the differences existing between cultural groups which hinder mutual understanding or relations. Differences exist in values, beliefs, behaviors, and customs of different cultures. Cultural diplomacy practices aim at smoothing the cultural gap in order to facilitate a greater mutual understanding.
