Mark Reckless is the Conservative MP for Rochester and Strood.
Political Career
Mark Reckless became MP for Rochester and Strood in 2010. He has twice stood as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Medway, coming within 213 votes of being elected as MP in 2005. He currently has a post on the Home Affairs Committee.
Education
Mark Reckless has a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He is also trained as a barrister; was called to the Bar in 2007.
Notable Work
Before becoming an MP Mark Reckless was UK Economist for the investment bank Warburgs and was rated as one of the top three economists in the City.
