Hrant Bagratyan was the Former Prime Minister of Armenia from 1993 to 1996. He was a scientific worker at the Institute of Economy of Armenian Academy of Sciences.

Professional Career

Bagratyan was the Dead of Division at the Institute of Economy of Armenian Academy of Sciences from 1989 to 1990. In 1990, he became the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia and First Deputy of the Prime-Minister of Armenia. He served as Prime Minister from 1993 to 1996. In 1995, he was named the “Man of the Year” by the American Biography Institute. Following that year, he was named “Man of the Millennium.” In 2007, he became a lecturer at the Russian-American University. He was a lecturer in the Department of International Relations in the beginning at the Kiev University in Ukraine from 2008 to 2013. He has written more than 52 scientific articles and has authored seven books.

Education

Bagratyan received his degree from the Faculty of Economy of the Yerevan State Institute of National Economy. He then completed his postgraduate at the Institute of Economics of NAS of the Republic of Armenia.
