Helga Daub was born 12. June 1942 in Wuppertal, Germany. She is a German politician and a member of The Free Democratic Party (FDP).

Political Career

She made her move into politics by becoming a member of the Freie Demokratische Partei (FDP) in the 1980s. From 1996 to 2005 she was chairman of the FDP District Association Siegen-Wittgenstein and also a member of the District Board Westphalia-West. From 1999 to 2003 Helga Daub belonged to the district council of the district of Siegen-Wittgenstein and was there until October 2002 Chairwoman of the FDP faction. From 2002 to 2005 she was member of the German Bundestag. Focus their political activity was the defense policy here. In 2009, she reached in her constituency 10.0% of the primary vote. Over the national list of the FDP, she was again a member of the German Bundestag and Chairwoman of the FDP parliamentary group in the Committee for Economic Cooperation and Development as well as a full member of the Tourism Committee.

Education

Helga Daub attended to hotel school in Dortmund , which she finished in 1962 as a hotel clerk.
