Igor Jakubcik was born on May 12, 1967, in Klatovy. He is a Czech politician, from January 2013 to August 2013 Member of the Chamber of Deputies, since 2012 the Pilsen Region councilor. He is a member of the Social Democrats.

Education

After a grammar school in Klatovy he graduated in economics and management at Czech University of Agriculture in Prague.

Political career

In 1998 he joined the Social Democrats. From 2004 to 2006 he was a councilor in Klatovy council. From 2008 to 2012 he was a member of the Commission of the Council of the Pilsen Region for economic development and employment. In 2010 he successfully ran for city council Klatovy.
