In the XVI - XV Legislature he was enrolled to the parliament group of Forza Italia and was a component of the agriculture commission. In the XVI Legislature he was Vice-President of V Commission regarding the finance and economic affaire. During the same legislature he was component of different parliamentary organs: budgetary, treasury and programming; commission of inquiry on the phenomenon of mafia criminals and other associations; commission of business production, trade and tourism and commission of agriculture. During the XVII legislature he was standing the committee for land, environment and environmental assets, lately he took part of a special committee regarding urgent action by the government.
Education
He got a degree in medicine and surgery, with a specialization in dentistry.
