Ramon Alturo Lloan

Ramon Alturo Lloan, born on Durro (Lleina) the 15th April of 1955, is a spanish senator for the Autonomous Community of Catalonia in the 10th term. He is member of "Convergència Democràtica de Catalunya" (CDC) and he was elected as senator for the coalition "Convergència i Unió" (CiU).

Political Career

Ramon Alturo Lloan was elected as senator for the first time in the 9th term. During the current term, he is the second secretary of the special commission for the development of the internationalisation and the ecosystem of the innovation for the service of the spanish industry and the developed world. He is spokesman of diferents commission such as the Education and Sport Commission or the Industry, Energy and Turism Commission. Before being a senator he also was Superintendent of Education in Lleida (2000-2003) and President of the Federation of CDC (Convergència Democratica de Catalunya) in Lleida.

Education

Ramos Alturo Lloan holds a degree on tecnic engineering. He was a highschool teacher (1988-1999) and headmaster of the highschool.
