Ing. arch. Jaroslav Klaška was born on June 28, 1962. He is a Czech politician, from October 2013 Member of the Chamber of Deputies, since 2006 the mayor of city of Slapanice, a member of the Christian Democratic Party (KDU-CSL).

Education

He graduated from the Central School of Civil Engineering in Brno and from University of Technology in Brno, Faculty of Architecture.

Political career

Jaroslav Klaska succeeded in municipal elections to Slapanice city council in 2002. In November 2006, succeeded as a leader of KDU-CSL candidates in the municipal election and became mayor of city of Slapanice. In subsequent municipal elections in 2010 he was elected again in 2010 continued on the post of mayor of the city. In the elections to the Chamber of Deputies in 2013 he ran from the second place in the South Moravian Region for the KDU-CSL and was elected. From February 2014, he is the first deputy chairman of the Group of KDU-CSL.
