José Miguel Camacho Sánchez (born 27 May, 1959). He was born in Pesquera (Cantabria). He's member of the Spanish Senate within the Socialist Party (PSOE).

Political Career

He began his political career in the Council of Talavera de la Reina (Toledo) being deputy mayor in 1991. Afterthat he has become city councillor during the period 1995 -1999. Also in this period he was member of the autonomic parliament of Castilla- La Mancha. In 2000 he began his political career in the senate until 2011 (IX Legislature).

Special Achievements

He participated in some interesting commission in his senate career as the commission for the eradication of the racism in sports and he also participated in a commission related to the UE.
