United Nations Development Program (UNDP)
Founded in 1965, the United Nations Development Program has its headquarters in New York and branch offices in 177 countries. The UNDP represents the main development network of the UN, coordinating global and national efforts for the achievement of the 2015 Millennium Development Goals. It also focuses on helping countries build solutions to the challenges of democratic governance, crisis prevention and recovery, the environment, and energy for sustainable development. The UNDP budget relies entirely on voluntary donations from its member states.
