Andrzej Gut-Mosotwy

Andrzej Gut-Mostowy was born on 30th October 1960 in Zakopane. He has been a member of the Polish Parliament since 2005.

Political career

Gut-Mostowy began his career in 1995 as a councillor in Zakopane. From 1998 until 2005 he was a councillor for the local parliament for Małopolska District. In 2005 he was elected into Polish Parlament. He was mamber of:

- Commission of Economy, - The Commission of the State Treasury, - Permanent Subcommittee on Development and Promotion of Tourism, - The Special Subcommittee for the consideration of the draft law amending the Law on Chambers of Commerce, - Subcommittee extraordinary to consider: parliamentary draft law amending the Law on the management of certain assets of the Treasury and the Military Property Agency, - Parliamentary Committee of Water Rescue.

In 2007 he was re-elected. Andrzej Gut-Mostowy has also worked in:

- Committee on the Economy, - The Commission of Physical Culture and Sport, - As Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Regional Culture, and chairman of the Slovak Polish Parliamentary Group.

On 9th October 2011, Andrzej Gut-Mostowy was elected to the Polish Parliament for a third term.

He is now involved with:

- The Commission for Tourism as chairman - Infrastructure Committee as a member - The Commission of Physical Culture and Sport as a member.

Education

Andrzej Gut-Mostowy graduated from the University of Economy in Kraków in 1986 and PhD studies in 2003.
