Doris Barnett

Doris Barnett (born May 22, 1953) is a german politician and a member of the Social Democratic Party Germany (SPD).

Political Career

Barnett joined the SPD in 1971 and has been a member of the German Bundestag since 1994. She equally has been SPD deputy-president of city federation since 1990. She has been involved in the local association Board Ludwigshafen-Oggersheim since 1984. Barnett has also been the Regional Executive of the SPD since 1992. She has been the District Chairman of the Association of Social Democratic Women (AsF) from 1991-1999.

Education

After attending a business school, Barnett studied law at the Johannes-Gutenberg-University Mainz.
