Klaus Barthel (born December 28, 1955) is a german politician and a member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD).
Political Career[edit]
Barthel has been a Member of the Bundestag since 1994. He was the Chairman of the Committee of Posts and Telecommunications, then the Subcommittee on Telecommunications and Posts during the 13th term of office (1994-1998). He is currently the Federal President of the Association for Labour Affairs in the SPD.
Education[edit]
Barthel studied of political science, sociology and history at the University of Munich, where he equally obtained a Masters of Arts.
