Apostolos Vesiropoulos (Greek: Απόστολος Βεσυρόπουλος, born in Veroia in 1966) is a greek politician and Civil Servant.

Political Career

From 1995 to 1998, he served as community councillor in Kypseli Imathia, between the years of 2004 to 2008 he was an elected member of the board of directors of D.A.K.E. organization of taxmen in Imathia , Pella and Pieria. From 2007 to 2010 he served as Prefectural councillor of Imathia and had major activity in the Agricultural Development, Finances, Trade and Consumer’s Protection sections. In November 2010, he was elected to the Council of the Municipality of Veroia. The same year he was elected Vice President of NODE, Nea Dimokratia Imathi, a position still currently holds.

He was elected second in votes as MP for The New Democracy party on the 17th June 2012 to represent the Prefecture of Imathia. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs and the Committee on the Financial Statement and the General Balance Sheet and on the implementation of the State Budget.

Education

Apostolos Vesiropoulos holds an Accounting degree at the Business and Financial Administration from the A.T.E.I. in Larissa and a MA in Public Law and Political Science, from the School of Law, Dimokriteion University, in Thrace.
