Jonas Ã…kerlund
Jonas Åkerlund was born on the 21st of January 1949. He is an member of the Swedish Parliament. He is representing the Swedish Democrats and he is the deputy party leader of the party.
Political Career
Jonas Åkerlund started his political career within the Socialdemocrats during the 70s. In 1985 he changed party to the Moderate Party and between 1988-1991 he was on the top of the partylist in Ockelbo. Jonas Åkerlund joined the Swedish Democrats in 1995 and in 2004-2005 he was the press secretary fot the party. The Swedish Democrats came in to the parliament in 2010 and that was when Jonas Åkerlund was elected to a member of parliament and also as the deputy party leader for the party.
He made big headlines in the newspapers in 2002 after he called immigrants in Sweden for "parasites" and also because he treated a female journalist threatening.
