Lars Castellucci
Lars Castellucci (born February 24. 1974) is a german politician and a member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD).
Political Career
Castellucci joined the SPD in 1991. Has been the local branch chairman of the SPD Wiesloch from 1995-2001. He is a member of the municipal council in Wiesloch since 1999. He equally is aChairman of the SPD Parliamentary Group. In addition to this, he was the District Chairman of the SPD Rhein-Neckar from 2001-2009. He is the Deputy Chairman of the SPD Baden-Württemberg. Moreover, He entered candidacy for the German Parliament in the constituency Rhein-Neckar for the first time in 2009. He is a member of the County Council in the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis since 2009 and he is the deputy social policy spokesman of the SPD. He is involved in More democracy eV. group.
Education
Castellucci completed his Abitur in Walldorf. He undertook his civil service in today's Psychiatric Center North Baden. He studied political science, Medieval and Modern History and Public Law at the Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg, where also obtained his MA. Subsequently he studied at the San Francisco State University ( SFSU ) from 1997-1998. In 2008, Castellucci obtained his PhD. at the Technical University of Darmstadt.
