Dámaso López Rodríguez was born in Taboada (Lugo, Spain) on the 1st of December, 1951. He is a Spanish politician from the People’s Party (PP).

Political Career

He is the President of the People’s Party in Monforte de Lemos and a member of the Regional Executive Board of the People’s Party and of its Board of Directors. He was the spokesman for the People’s Party at the Monforte townhall (1991-1995, 2007-2011). He was a Health Delegate in 2002 and Executive of the Galician Government in 2003. Mr. López Rodriguez was a deputy for the PP at the Galician Parliament (2005-2009). He then became Vice President of the Health Commission (2009-2012).

Education Career

Dámaso López graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Santiago de Compostela in 1975, Stomatology in the Complutense Univesity in Madrid
