Rafael Bruguera i Batalla
Rafel Bruguera I Batalla was born on 11th October 1956 in L’Escala, Spain, and he is a Spanish politician, member of the Spanish Senate and the Socialist Catalan Party (PSC).
Political Career[edit]
He was Senator for the Socialist Catalan Progress in Understanding from 2004 to 2008 and from February 2011 onwards. He has also been Secretary of Education and Head of the election campaigns of PSC Executive Secretary of Girona since 2004, as well as Secretary of Organization of PSC in Girona region between 1999 and 2004, Provincial Deputy from 1989 to 2003 and spokesman for the PSC Regional Council of Alt Emporda between 1988 and 1991. Additionally, he was Councilor and Mayor of L’Escala from 1979 to 2003 and 1983 and 1995.
Education[edit]
He holds a postgraduate degree in Communication Policy and Strategy, and a Masters in Management and Local Law. He is also a teacher of Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO).
