Damien Thiéry was born in Brussels (Belgium). He is a member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for the Brussels branch of the French-speaking Liberal Party (MR) and acting mayor of Linkebeek.
Political Career[edit]
In 2000, Damien Thiéry was elected as alderman in Linkebeek. After the local elections in 2006, he became acting mayor of the city. Since 2010, he has held a seat in the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for at that time the French-speaking Federalist Party (FDF), where he focused his parliamentary work on defence. On December 20th 2013, he announced his switch from FDF to MR, the French-speaking Liberal Party (MR). In 2014, he got re-elected as member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for the MR.

He graduated in physiotherapy.
