María Antònia Garau Juan, born in 1975, is a Spanish senator representing Palma de Mallorca in the Baleares Islands in the 10th Congress of Deputies. Garau Juan is a member of the Spanish Popular Party, Partido Popular (PP).

Political Career[edit]

Prior to this legislature, Garau Juan was a member of the Committee on Finance and Government from November 2013 to December 2013. Nowadays, María Antònia is the spokeswoman for the Special Commission for International Development and the Innovation Ecosystem to the Service of Spanish Industry and to the Developing World. She is also a member of the Economics and Competitiveness Commission, the Commission of Equality and the Committee of the Autonomous Communities and the Latin American Affairs Committee.

Education[edit]

María Antònia Garau Juan has a degree in Business Management and Administration for the Baleares University. Furthermore, she pursued a Masters in Tourism Management, specialising in Hospitality.
