Pío García-Escudero Márquez, born 28 October 1952 and count of Badarán, is a Spanish senator representing the Spanish province of Madrid in the 10th Congress of Deputies. García Martínez is a member of the Spanish People’s Party, Partido Popular (PP).
Political Career
García-Escudero Márquez is the president of the Spanish Senate. He is also the president of the Appointments Commission and the Commission of Regulation. Furthermore, he is the president of the Joint Commission of Committees of Interior, Education and Sport, and Industry, Energy and Tourism.
