Marin Jurjević
Marin Jurjević was born on 17 November 1952 in Split, Croatia. He is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Croatia (SDP; Croatian: Socijaldemokratska partija Hrvatske) and has been a member of the Croatian Parliament (Hrvatski sabor) during its fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh term.
Political Career[edit]
Jurjević's current mandate in the Croatian Parliament began on 22 December 2011. He is a deputy chairperson of the Executive Committee of the National Group to the Inter-Parliamentary Union, a deputy head of delegation of the Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the NATO, a member of the Committee on the Constitution, Standing Orders and Political System, a member of the Foreign Policy Committee, a member of the Domestic Policy and National Security Committee, and a member of the Interparliamentary Co-operation Committee. Formerly, he was a member of Defence Committee and a member of the Environmental Protection Committee.
Education[edit]
After graduating from the Faculty of Political Science and completing a postgraduate programme at the same Faculty, Jurjević obtained his degree of Master of Science in Political Science.
